WHATS ON 2010
 
Our Play Barn will be closed on Thursday 22 & Friday 23 July for deep cleaning, we apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and hope it does not deter a visit to us during these days. Our timed daily activities including Cuddle Corner, Ferret Racing, Pig Football, FREE tractor rides, Donkeys Rides and more will still be running, also our outdoor adventure play area will still be open.

JULY/AUGUST
Fun in the Sun at Kent Life
Sat 24 July to Mon 30 Aug
(BH) 10am to 6pm
Go wild this summer! and enjoy our FREE timed daily activities including Cuddle Corner, Ferret Racing, Piglet Racing or Pig Football, Groom-a-Goat, Feeding the Ducks and Tractor Trailer Rides. Other paid for activities include Quad for Kids* for only £1 a ride, Paint-a-Pot Studio*, Donkey Rides* and Face Painting*. Run ragged on the outdoor adventure playground and the indoor soft play barn and be on the lookout for the wooden chickens hidden around our grounds, find them all and win a yummy treat! On Bank Holiday Monday (30 Aug) bring your pooches along and enter them in the Fun Dog Competition and test your strength in the Grand Tug-of-War. Click here for more info. 
 
SEPTEMBER 
Maidstone's Original Beer & Hop Festival excluded from Membership Pass
Saturday 11 (10am to 8pm) & Sun 12 Sept (10am to 6pm)
FREE!! Pint of beer for all full paying adults. Join us in the beer tent and try a large variety of rare and more commonly seen real ales and ciders and lagers on tap and bottled, and not forgetting all those with a sweeter tooth...there will be Pimm's, wine and spirits available too. 
Join the 'festini' atmosphere with a variety of live and local music playing all day long! Rock out in the main stage area or chill out by the acoustic stage on both days. Sunday's tunes will be varied and a bit more mellow. 
Don't forget to try our sought after annual Cobtree Mild ale, brewed using our very own hops! and have a wander around our Traditional Hop Picking, see the last working coal fired Oast house in Britain in full production and enjoy the sights, sounds and smells of a bygone years, with traditional hop picking by hand all weekend. Meet the Tally Man and Pearly Kings and Queens and more characters from Kent's past.
 
OCTOBER
Apple Weekend
Sat 9 & Sunday 10 Oct 10am to 6pm
Watch the traditional method of making fresh apple juice using our antique cider press. The apples are cut, crushed and pulped to make this delicious juice for you to buy and take home. Also on sale is a wide variety of new and historic varieties of eating and cooking apples, grown in our orchards. Have a rest and enjoy a variety of local ciders in our Village Bar, watch the Blacksmith at work in his forge and join in with the traditional Morris dancers. Click here for more info.
 
Spooktacular Fun with Scooby-Doo
Sat 24 to Sun 31 Oct 10am to 5pm
Join Scooby-Doo on 30 & 31 October and the screams you hear at Kent Life will be of delight and not fright, this will be Scooby-Doo's first ever appearance at Kent Life where he will be appearing at interval throughout the weekend. There will be lots to do during the half term, so... bring your children to a safe place to trick-or-treat, knock on the doors of our historic homes and see who is lurking behind them... only if you dare! ha ha ha! Be grossed out in the 'Creepy Crawley Cuddle Corner' workshops, where you can be hands on with spine-chilling spiders and hair-raising rodents. Join the hunt for 13 wooden ghost hidden around our grounds, find them all and win a yummy treat! and enter our daily fancy dress competitions - including all you grownups too! the best dressed will win a special prize!! Have your face painted* as an ugly witch, scary skeleton or a gruesome monster!! ha ha ha! scare you there!! Click here for more info.
 
NOVEMBER
Bonfire & Fireworks Spectacular! excluded from Membership Pass
Sat 6 Nov 4:30pm to 8:30pm (last admission 7:30pm)
Be amazed by fire breathers lighting our grand roaring bonfire at 7:15pm and join in the countdown to our annual spectacular musical firework display at 8pm. Join us in this momentous celebration in marking the end of a great summer season and the beginning of our winter festivities. The evening will be entertaining for all ages with a spooky tunnel of doom, glow stick galore and fire performers. Click here for more info. 
 
WINTER OFFER
7 Nov to 1 April 2011 10am to 4pm
Whatever the weather, wack on your wellies and enjoy the winter months. Let the kids burn off some energy in the exciting indoor and outdoor play areas and thaw out with our delicious winter warmers menu including delicious fresh soups and luxury hot chocolates with marshmallows! Don't forget to have a walk around our period decorated homes including a Victorian Farmhouse, WWII cottage and 1950’s home. Membership passes are valid...

As a precaution please avoid touching our animals and remember to wash your hands before eating. There are hand sanitisers available on every animal pen and hand washing facilities in all the toilets and the farmyard.
