The landscape of the South East of England is one of the most beautiful and diverse in the country. Many less demanding shorter routes have been developed, including routes suitable for the less able visitor and those with prams and pushchairs.
As well as enjoying the fabulous walking in the region, one of the delights of a visit is to experience the local gastronomy. Visitors buying from local food producers help conserve our countryside by keeping more money in the local economy, safeguarding local business and reducing the need for excessive food miles.
The region is easily accessed from the rest of the country, and boasts excellent national and international transport links. As well as the good road system, the South East is easily accessed by rail, with initiatives such as Surreys Rail to Ramble and Kents Rail to Trail initiatives taking visitors straight out into the countryside.
